Church of the Brethren Sudan Initiative

A brief Satellite phone call was received today from the Sudan Assessment Team. They are in Leer today and wish for all to know that power for the computer is sporadic and quite limited. In fact, they asked that we pass along that communication on the blog may be fully interrupted until Tuesday, July 31st, although each day the team will do there best to attempt to post a log.

Yesterday Phil, Louie and Enten were in Myom and are back today in Leer They are safe and had excellent meetings with people who remember fondly Roger and Carolyn Schrock.
Continue to pray for the Sudan Assessment Team as they are blessed by the meetings and persons they have encountered. They are warmed and encouraged by the prayers that so many have sent via Email on their behalf.

Should blogs be interrupted until Tuesday, July 31st please know that the computer was not able to be powered properly and they are well and safe.
