We left Lokichogio in the morning and arrived at Kuron on a charter - pictured at right. We were warmly met by Taposa people and others who were ready to unload the plane and accompany us to Holy Trinity Peace Village.
Our mode of transportation was a tractor pulling a trailer with the luggage and people including Enten and Emmanuel, our host. Phil and Louie were riding side saddle on the tractor. The road was very, very, very rough!
These tents were our new home at the Peace Village since other housing was already occupied. They were comfortable. Hospitality has been gracious - as always.
This is the kitchen and one of the cooks stirring the ugali (corn meal).
