Enten's personal reflections:

Last night was my first under mosquito netting, and I managed quite well. I am blessed to be able to adapt to various and extreme conditions better than some. Another downpour in the night... I wanted to go out and shower in the clean water--just put on a bathing suit and take a bar of soap. I may yet one of these times. I didn't hear the frogs after that time... but I was sleeping.

A bell rang at 6:45a, and hearing roosters again (plus doves, and other chirping things like a bulbul), I got up and showered. This was done with a bucket of murky water and a small plastic pail to dip out and pour over myself--standard practice here.

Since we still have electrical power, I decided to type early, taking advantage of whatever time I can keep the battery fully charged, for while the solar might work, it won't do well for us if we are traveling or moving around... the solar charging needs to sit in the sun somewhere... not ideal for the crazy schedule that we are attempting to pull off this month. I'm not sure that I will be able to set up to send yet, however... but later.

There may be changes here on the ground after talking to Bishop Paride... he suggested yet another area that is way underserved, and a good place to plant churches as there are not other groups there much. Phil and Louie and I will need to talk and figure this out some, and be in touch with Brad back in the States.
